You’ve just realised that the big finale of the TV series you’ve been watching for the last 2 weeks, you missed it! …or that soap at last had a decent interesting storyline enough to hold your attention to want to know ‘who did it’ and then, aaaagh you were at the shops and forgot to record it! Don’t panic, there’s Catch up TV
If you have a high quality internet TV provider (like WatchBestTV), it’s highly likely that you have available CATCHUP TV (and if you don’t have this service you need to change your internet TV service, because you’ve had catch up, you will see how much you love it, and will soon find it hard to do without).
Catchup TV is a great service available to you that some internet TV providers offer that gives you the chance to go back in time to Live programmes that get automatically recorded for you – it’s called Catch up TV.
Here’s how it works – if you watch TV over the internet, some IPTV providers offer a certain amount of Live channels that they setup catch up on, allowing you to go back a few days, perhaps a week, a few even offer 14 day Catch up (this is very special as very few offer this). This means you can go back up to 2 weeks and you can watch any programme that has been recorded as a catch up programme, and simply press ‘play’ on your TV’s remote control, and you’ll be watching the programme you choose as if it was Live – how great is that!
It gets better – catchup tv programmes can be paused and re-started, so you can ‘pause’ your favourite programme and take that phone call, make a coffee, finish making supper, and then go back to it – just hit ‘play’ and you’re back watching your programme.
If you want to know if a Live channel offers catch up, look at your electronic programme guide (EPG) and just alongside the programme there will be a little yellow dot. If you see one, you know that programme has been recorded as a catch up tv programme, and you can then go back however many days your IPTV provider offers catch up for, and watch that programme when it suits you.
Catchup TV costs a huge amount for IPTV providers because for every Live channel they offer catch up on, they then have to record EVERY programme going back however many days they offer their catchup tv service for. Think about that – how many programmes that is, and how much memory is needed by the IP TV providers on their servers to save all those catch up programmes.
…and this is why so very few internet TV companies offer catch up, or if they do, they only offer up to 7 days of catchup TV programmes.
One company that does offer a vast amount of Catchup TV is WatchBestTV. They offer 14-days Catch up and they offer that on over 225 Live channels – no-one in Europe offers so much, and is probably one of the reason they’ve again be rated #1 internet TV provider 2018.
